• Es un examen de laboratorio para medir la cantidad de triglicéridos, un tipo de grasas, en la sangre

• No ingerir alimentos entre 8 y 12 horas antes del examen.

• El alcohol y ciertos fármacos pueden afectar los resultados del examen.
